Hi all,
We're getting close to a "real" announcement.
Sorry for the radio silence for the last week or so; we've been hearing some tremendous news and we've been waiting for the time where we could spill some major beans. While we can't say things in plain English yet, we do have some announcements.
#1 HeroClix will be sold, and it will be sold shortly. Both Topps and a newly formed game company have agreed in principle, and are hashing out their final deal.
#2 The game will be sold to a new ownership group that Pinata Games' members have met with and talked with over the past few months. They're nice people and we think they have some solid ideas...some BIG ideas. We've worked together with them on a few little projects tied into their purchase of the brands.
#3 In addition to HeroClix, the new group is buying some other brands from Topps, and other WizKids' fans may be delighted to hear what the new group wants to do with them.
#4 While Pinata Games will not be owners of the properties, we are working on a long-term deal with the new owners to collaborate with them on the relaunch and operation of HeroClix. We officially will announce our partnership with the new group after the purchase of the brands.
#5 Justin Ziran (CEO of Pinata) has been out-of-state talking with the new ownership group for the past few days, and he has nothing but good news to report. We anticipate a formal announcement some time over the next couple of weeks, which may have some other interesting news in it as well.
To reiterate, this is great news, and we'd like to thank all of the HC fans for remaining so resolute during this process.

Hoy Viernes 27 de Febrero no va a haber clix, nos vemos la siguiente semana, cuídense.

Hola MENDIGOS

Oigan hijos de su repipin chamaco, que poca tienen ya de plano nadie viene; solo anibal es el unico que llega; yo quiero poner aqui en el blog un contador de asistencia y si no se tiene un quorum de por lo menos 4 personas no hay juego; se me hace injusto estar aca esperando y que solo estemos esperandolos 2 horas anibal y yo; la neta este viernes tenia una propuesta interesante a la cual acudir (me invitaban a jugar street fighter 4) y pues dije que no podia por que tenia que jugar; asi que la neta si me encabrono de sobremanera no poder ir por esperarlos y que ustedes no llegaran; suplico que el que tenga las capacidades tecnologicas de poner cosas en el foro ponga un contador de asistencia que se cierre el jueves por la noche y asi ver si hay o no hay asistencia; en caso de que les salga algo de ultima hora; pues avisen no sean ogts; en fin espero de menos que respondan por aca y pos no se la prolonguen y me dejen plantado, cuidensen

clix 3cer fin de semana de febrero

Estimados trotacalles de Sullivan y Tlalpan, se abre la votación pal próximo fin. Añado 3 propuestas y las otras pa ustedes si se les da la gana.

1. 800 puntos. Unrestricted. El equipo debe tener al menos una base de cada una de las que hay (salvo colosales). Ya lo hemos jugado, pero pa los que no saben: Un gigante, un doble base, un transporter (no siempre doble base es transporter), un volador, un terrestre, un duo y un acuático. Por lo demas libre.

2. 600 puntos. Unrestricted. Todas las figuras deben tener Leap and climb en el clix inicial. Leap and climb no debe estar combinado con otros poderes (o sea, no parte de un poder especial). Por lo demás libre.

3. 700 puntos. Unrestricted. Ninguna figura en el equipo puede tener stealth o un poder o afiliación que lo esconda. Ninguna figura puede tener rango mayor a 6. Perplex no puede modificar el rango ni ningún otro efecto o feat para incrementarlo. Por lo demás libre.

Lávenselo con productos no inflamables.

clix segundo fin de semana de febrero

Apreciables mari...achis.

Se abre la votación para este fin. Se retoman las propuestas de anibal de la semana pasada y añado como cuarta la que ganó la otra vez y aún no se jugó.

1.- 700 key words libre.

2.- figuras que tengan defensas que no puedan reducir el daño a 700 por lo demas libre (no se valen feats como force field, ).

3.-300 puntos todas las figuras ademas de su defensa tienen willpower por lo demas libre.

4. 700 puntos. Unrestricted. Sólo mujeres. Sólo figuras por debajo de los 120 puntos. Por lo demás libre.

No planten a Poncho.
